Keynotes from MMS Las Vegas 2011

You! Empowered By The Cloud
Tuesday, March 22, 8:30-9:45am
This keynote will cover Microsoft’s cloud computing offerings. Brad will share how the cloud empowers IT Professionals by showing how to build and manage a private cloud, with a special focus on Microsoft’s upcoming System Center release.

You! Empowered to Embrace Consumerization
Wednesday, March 23, 8:30-9:45am
Consumerization is driving profound changes in how businesses think about IT. Employee-owned devices, consumer services, and a blurring of traditional work/life boundaries are all shaping how we conduct business. IT is tasked with embracing these changes and driving increased employee productivity, while still ensuring that data is protected and assets are managed in a compliant way. Join Brad Anderson, Corporate Vice President of the Management and Security Division at Microsoft, to learn how Microsoft can empower IT Professionals to seize these opportunities through a simpler, unified approach to client and device management that helps drive down cost and improve service.

About Brad Anderson

Brad Anderson

Brad Anderson is the corporate vice president of the Management and Security Division (MSD) at Microsoft. In that capacity, he leads a global team committed to helping organizations reduce their costs and drive their businesses forward with the MSD suite of products and services. Since becoming general manager of MSD in 2007, Anderson led MSD to win significant market share by strengthening its core product and service offerings, supporting innovation of virtualized and online management technologies, forming strategic partnerships with customers and within the industry, collaborating across Microsoft, and investing in key acquisitions.

Prior to joining Microsoft in 2003, Anderson spent 12 years at Novell, most recently serving as Vice President and General Manager of the ZENWorks product line. Anderson graduated Magna Cum Laude in Design Engineering Technology, and graduated with honors with an MBA, both from Brigham Young University. Outside of work, Anderson enjoys spending time with his wife Kim and their five children.
