New Microsoft Online Services Customer Portal Adds Windows Azure Platform Sign-Up and Billing Features

In preparation for Microsoft’s Azure Services Platform commercial debut on 1/4/2010, the Microsoft Online Services team added a Customer Portal (MOCP) with sign-up and billing pages to its site (click images for full-size 1024x768 image):

Clicking the Windows Azure Platform Rate Plan link opens an Azure-specific portal page (notice that Online Services hasn’t gotten the message that .NET Services is now Azure AppFabric):

 

Clicking the Rate Plan button for Windows Azure Platform Introductory Special opens a Windows Azure Platform Offer Comparison Table from the Windows Azure site:

You must sign up for a minimum six-month term to take advantage of the Development Accelerator Core or Development Accelerator Extended discounts.
